Hello, we are glad to have you as our guest, and we hope you will enjoy learning about
us and our ancestors. We have only recently started to research our family
lines and we have been lucky enough to have made quite a few unexpected
discoveries. Lois was lucky enough to have located two of our families
Bibles, which have been a great advantage to us. When we started out, we
knew little- to nothing- about our families' past our own parents and grandparents.
Lois' mother Emma White/Smith/Batton and my father Joseph Arthur White were sister and brother (needless to say we are cousins). Lois lives in Arizona and I (Karen) live in Maryland, which makes us very thankful to the computer industry and the internet for making our working together on our genealogy possible.
In the short time that we have been working on this project, We have found that the community of genealogist are a warm and helpful group, whether they are professionals or laymen like us.
We hope that you will visit all the areas of our site and return often to see new updates, since this will be an ongoing endeavor. If you are also
researching any of the same lines and find discrepancies in any of our
information, please feel free to either email us or use the message board
to notify us.
